A Simple and Fast Way to Lose Weight - How to Lose 20 Pounds
The good news is it's not that hard to achieve this goal and be able to lose 20 pounds and fit into those "skinny" jeans. And even if you have a goal of more than 20 pounds, that's okay. I managed to do this.
- Without much fuss at all.
- No pain.
- And no money spent for gym memberships either.
I'm simply going to go through what worked for me but remember everyone is different so you may need to change things around to fit yourself and your lifestyle and schedule. I lost an easy 20 pounds with this method about 10 years ago and the good news is it stays off as long as you continue following the plan.
What is my simple secret? I made a point to walk every day.
Now, of course, there are going to be some days you simply can't get this done. But by having the goal of walking every day, if you do miss a day here and there you really haven't missed too much. If you make your goal to walk every other day or every 3 days, and then you miss a day, you might end up going a week without walking. So I would suggest that you start out with the intention of walking each and every day. How far to walk is up to you. I don't necessarily have a goal as to how far but I go for how long. I usually walk for at least half an hour per day. The distance is about a mile and a half at the pace I walk.
Even if you do nothing else but just walk every day you'll lose weight. It may not come off as fast as you would like but as the old fable says, slow and steady wins the race. You don't even have to change your eating habits. Of course you can, and that will speed things along, but you don't have to.
Now, if you are in a hurry, and chances are great that you probably are, you can increase the walking time or miles per day. For example, you could set a goal to walk 3 miles per day. If you stick to that goal you will lose weight, and at 3 miles per day you can do it pretty quickly.
Adjusting your eating habits is not required but as I mentioned, it will help you to lose weight faster. Nothing drastic need be done unless you want to. Just cut back a little. The combination of your walking and cutting back your eating just a bit will work wonders. I know it sounds to simplistic to be true but it really works.
Now, if you want to speed things up even a little more, you can add strength training to your regimen. I found that if I worked out with some strength training on my Total Gym at home, it really helped take the weight off fast. The reason for that is you are building muscle, which helps to speed fat loss. So if you have access to something like that to use, try adding in some muscle building exercises to help you reach your goal faster.
That's all there is to it, a very simple and fast way to lose weight. So if you have been wondering how to lose 20 pounds (or even more), give this regimen a try. It's simple but it works!

How Can I Lose Weight? Sugar Substitutes and Weight Gain
Do you constantly find yourself wondering, how can I lose weight? Have you tried eating low-fat foods, no-sugar snacks, and diet sodas, and you are not losing weight but actually find that you are gaining weight?
Sounds crazy, doesn't it? I thought so too until I started researching the subject a little bit. My friends and I used to drink tons of diet soda, use the little blue, yellow, or pink artificial-sugar sweeteners in our coffee and tea, and buy only the low-fat snacks. But we still did not lose weight and in fact often gained weight.
What I've learned is the body is programmed to anticipate that any food which tastes sweet is going to be calorie-ridden. Artificial sweeteners disrupt the body's innate ability to regulate the calories you are consuming. Typically, when you consume a sweet-tasting beverage or food, your taste buds sense the sweetness and signal to the brain to get ready for a big pile of calories. But when that fails to happen, this gets the body out of sync and it has trouble getting back on track to regulate the appetite.
As a result of this, you tend to actually eat more and thereby gain more weight. So instead of getting slimmer you end up finding yourself a size larger, and all the while you think you're doing yourself a favor by consuming these fake-sugar foods and drinks.
So after reading all this I decided the best thing to do was to simply either drink water or else drink regular soda and eat regular snacks in moderation. That's the key right there.
So if you are consuming a regular diet of low-fat sodas and snacks, and continue to ask yourself the question, how can I lose weight, maybe the answer is not to deprive yourself of sugar but rather just limit your intake of natural sweeteners and drink a little more water. You should see the number on the scale start to get lower instead of higher.

Best Ways to Lose Weight Fast - Should You Eat if You Don't Feel Hungry?
For those struggling to find the best ways to lose weight fast, one of the questions that often comes up is whether you are supposed to eat at certain times of the day even if you are not hungry.
It seems that in this day and time, people tend to eat by the clock. If it's 9 a.m. they decide it's time to eat breakfast so they do. Noon, it's time for lunch. Now it's 6 p.m. so it must be time for dinner and you should eat whether you are hungry or not. The family wants to have ice cream for dessert so it's now dessert time - hungry or not!
This is a great way to gain weight. It's also a rather unhealthy routine to get stuck in. If this sounds like you, don't feel bad because it's how the majority of people handle their day-to-day eating. Why? Basically because it makes things a lot easier. If everyone else is sitting down to dinner, it's not that easy to say well, I'm not hungry yet so I'll eat later.
But that's exactly what you should do! If noon arrives and your family says it's time for lunch, by all means eat if you are truly hungry. However, if you find that you simply are not hungry, go ahead and pass on eating. Your body will tell you when you truly need food. On the other hand, if dinnertime is 2 hours away and you're starving, don't torture yourself. Eat something right then.
What I find is that if I listen to my body in this manner, I tend to lose weight and very easily at that. The pounds almost seem to literally melt off. I'm not a scientist so I have no idea why that is, but it does work. Even if it is midnight, if I find myself truly hungry I eat something. The key is don't eat lots of unhealthy foods. Try to find things to eat that are healthy. You don't have to deprive yourself completely but maybe limit yourself to one snack per day.
Also, be sure to ask yourself (especially for nighttime snacks) if you are really hungry or if you are just bored. I've noticed that as soon as I sit down to watch TV, I immediately look for a snack. Because I'm hungry? Not really. More likely just a habit. In that case I just get a bottle of water and sip it.
These are great habits to get into if you are trying to find the best ways to lose weight fast. Once you get used to following this plan you won't even think twice about it, and as a bonus, you won't have to go through the day feeling hungry.
Stop counting calories, fat, and carbs! Find out the best ways to lose weight fast and keep it off for good!

Drinking Water To Lose Weight - How on Earth Can You Drink All that Water?
Studies show you need to drink 8 glasses of water a day. Wowie, zowie, that's a ton of water! Can that even be correct? And is drinking all this water really going to help you in your weight loss plan? You will actually drop pounds this way?
Good and bad news.
The good news is yes, you can and will lose weight by drinking the amount of water your body actually needs. And then what is the bad news? You might actually need to drink MORE than 8 glasses. In fact most likely you do.
But remember, once you become accustomed to this amount it will be second nature. What most people don't realize is that a large percentage of the population is walking around severely dehydrated. The reason for this is that the thirst mechanism has been ignored or misunderstood (mistaken for hunger) for so long, you can no longer notice it. It simply gets ignored and people end up overeating instead of drinking the fluid they need.
So, very often when you are thinking you are hungry, your body is really just craving water. Once you start to take in enough water, you'll notice your thirst mechanism will start to kick in and actually begin functioning again. You'll feel better too, and your skin will look younger and healthier, and the pounds will actually begin to drop off without a lot of effort on your part.
Now don't get me wrong, you still need to eat right. A great diet plan or healthy eating plan is essential. But I'll let you in on a little secret. You don't actually have to count fat, calories, or carbs! Imagine that. I found a great diet that works if you want to lose weight fast.
